on qualifying merchandise as stated below.
A receipt and return authorization is required for all returns, exchanges and refunds. Items must be in new condition and in the original packaging to qualify for a refund and refunds will be issued in the same form of payment as the original payment. Exchanges of greater value require payment of the difference. Refunds, exchanges and reselections are issued once the item is received and inspected. Guests are responsible to pay the difference for reselection.
Delivery fees are non-refundable. The costs of return shipping and any return fees will be deducted from your refund.
Sorry, we cannot return, exchange or refund Clearance Center merchandise, linens, mattress toppers, mattress protectors and encasements, pillows, comforters, adjustable bed bases and foundations, as-is products, floor samples, soiled or misused merchandise, items used commercially, open Clean Team products or Protection Plans, promotional product and gifts with purchase, and items delivered by non-Art Van provided carriers. Mattresses and foundations cannot be returned for a refund.
Free shipping factory direct merchandise can be returned to your local Art Van Furniture location or shipped directly to our warehouse at the address below. Custom Order Furniture Cancellations, Returns & Exchanges
Please contact us within 7 days to arrange a return or exchange of custom order merchandise, 1-888-4ARTVAN. Because custom order merchandise is designed to your specific requirements, a 25% deposit is required at the time of purchase.
Custom order cancellations within 72 hours of purchase: No charges will apply.
Custom order cancellations after 72 hours are subject to loss of the 25% deposit.
Custom orders may be returned for refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt if the merchandise is returned in new condition. A 25% return fee and a return delivery fee will be charged.
If you purchase a new sleep set, min. $499, along with mattress protector and our Bedding Comfort Protection Program, you qualify for a one-time mattress reselection. If after a minimum of 30 days you are unable to comfortably adjust to the support of your new mattress, you have up to the 60th day from the original delivery date to make a one-time reselection. Failure to use the mattress protector as instructed voids the Comfort Protection.
Any difference in price must be paid. If you select merchandise of lesser price, you will receive a merchandise credit for the difference.
Reselections before the 30-day period are charged an additional 15% early exchange fee, plus a delivery fee.
Custom order bedding does not qualify for the Bedding Comfort Protection. Exchanges of foundations due to height will be charge both a 15% return fee and a delivery fee. After 7 days, we cannot accept foundation exchanges due to height. Mattress/foundation delivery damage or manufacturer defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to qualify for a no-fee inspected and authorized exchange.
Our stores offer layaway as an easy way to buy. Our non-Clearance Center, regularly-stocked items may be reserved and delivery delayed for up to 60 days. Payment must be made every 14 days to keep the order in good standing or it may result in cancellation of the order.
Layaway merchandise is not physically held. Orders may be canceled if the manufacturer discontinues the item(s).
Online purchases cannot be put on layaway.
Scott Shuptrine Returns and Order Cancellations
Special Ordered Accessory Items/Custom-Made Items. All orders for special ordered accessory items (defined as accessory items not sold from existing inventory, which include but are not limited to, area rugs, table top accents, lamps, wall décor, etc) and custom-made items (which include but are not limited to, all upholstery items, cut yardage, custom window treatments, custom bedcoverings, and table pads) may be cancelled at no charge within 72 hours of the time the order was placed. No cancellations are permitted after 72 hours, and the customer shall forfeit the deposit to Scott Shuptrine Interiors for any cancellations after the 72 hours. There are no refunds, exchanges, or credits on orders of these products with the exception of manufacturer's defects or damage covered by warranty (See warranty for details).
In-Stock Accessory Items In-stock accessory items that are not special ordered may be returned for a full refund, exchange, or credit within 72 hours of the purchase (with proof of purchase in the form of the original receipt) for the purchase price only, provided the item(s) are returned in the same condition which they were in at the time of purchase. Any taxes charged will be refunded in accordance with state laws.
"As-Is" and "Clearance" Items. Items sold on an "As-Is" basis (which include clearance items) are considered final sales and will not be accepted for return, credit, exchange, or cancellation. "As-Is" and "Clearance" merchandise is sold with no warranty of any kind.All Other Orders (which include casegood items). All other orders that are not set forth above may be cancelled at no charge within 72 hours of the time the order was placed. Undelivered orders that are cancelled 72 hours after the order was placed will be charged a 25% restocking fee. Delivered orders may be returned for a refund, exchange or credit within 72 hours after delivery. Returned items will be subject to a 25% restocking fee plus pick-up and delivery fees. All returns for a refund, exchange, or credit require proof of purchase and the items must be in the same condition that they were in at the time of delivery. Refunds will be issued by same means tendered, with the exception of expired credit cards or cash, which will be refunded by corporate check.
