Delivery Damage & Defect

Our professional delivery team will treat you, your home and your furniture with respect. However, please inspect your merchandise thoroughly upon delivery and note any damage or defect on your signed delivery slip. Contact us, 800­-662­-0038, within 3 days of delivery to let us know about any delivery damage or defect.

• If you discover a delivery damage or defect on delivered merchandise, you will not be
  charged a return or delivery fee for inspected and authorized exchanges.

• If you discover a defect on merchandise picked up at a store or warehouse location,
 please return the merchandise to the location of origin for service, an exchange, a refund or
 reselection. If delivery is requested, a delivery fee will be charged. Store Locator

• Depending on the severity of the damage, we will have the item repaired by a
 professional repair service at no charge to you; or, if the damage or defect cannot be
 repaired we will arrange for replacement of the damaged piece. For Regional
 & Long Distance Deliveries, this may be coordinated by our professional, third party
 delivery service.

Manufacturer Defects

Art Van Furniture is a factory-authorized service center for the furniture we sell, excluding Clearance Center merchandise, floor samples and items that are used commercially. For one year after delivery, we offer free service on manufacturer's defects. As your exclusive remedy, we repair the item, or at our option, replace it. If you are experiencing a manufacturer's defect, please call 800­-662­-0038.

Warranties & Service

In addition to One-Year Free Service for manufacturer's defects, you have the option to purchase warranty plans and cleaning kits for added protection up to the lifetime of your product. Learn more about how to protect your furniture with our warranties, protection plans and cleaning kits

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

If you wish to return, exchange or cancel an order, please contact the store where the purchase was made immediately. Returns will be made using the original method of shipping and you will be responsible for return shipping charges. Learn more about our return, exchange and cancellation policy here.

• If your items qualify for return and were shipped using a local, regional or long distance
  service, we will gladly coordinate your return.

• If your items qualify for return and were shipped FedEX, please call us to notify us of your   return, attach the return shipping label to the original packaging and drop it off at any

What is Room of Choice Delivery?

    An expert furniture delivery team will deliver your furniture into your home, place the furniture in your room of choice, unpack the items, and remove debris. Please note assembly is not included. Contact us at 888­-4ARTVAN and we will be happy to provide you with a custom assembly quote.

What is FREE Store Pick Up?

    We offer FREE Store Pick Up at our central warehouse and at most of our store locations. We will help you load your furniture into your vehicle and items are provided in the factory packaging. Items may require assembly. Pick Up hours vary by location, check the Store Locator for details on your neighborhood store hours.

What is the difference between Local, Regional & Long Distance Delivery?

    We have three delivery zones: Local, Regional & Long Distance.

    Local Delivery is completed by an Art Van Furniture delivery team to many locations within 100 miles of an Art Van Furniture store.

    Regional & Long Distance Delivery is completed by a professional, third party delivery provider specializing in furniture delivery to locations outside of our local area. We use one provider nation-wide to insure the highest quality customer service experience.

    Specific delivery techniques may vary between providers.

Some of your competitors offer free delivery, what is the difference?

    Some of our competitors offer free delivery, and you get what you pay for. Free delivery often means that YOU may have to unload the furniture from the delivery truck, YOU may have to carry the furniture inside, and YOU may have to unpack and assemble the items.

    At Art Van, we offer full-service, in-home delivery options at affordable prices. Our expert delivery teams will treat your home and your new furniture with care and respect. When will I receive my delivery?

    We want you to enjoy your purchase as quickly as possible. Items that are in-stock will arrive as quickly as one week or less from the purchase. Some locations will require a little more time.

How can I track my delivery?

    Our team of stylists can track your shipment every step of the way. Give us a call, 888­-4ARTVAN and we'll share an update. Please be sure to have your order number handy when you call.

Will everything in my order arrive at once?

    At times, items are out of stock and cannot be delivered immediately. If an item is out of stock, you will be notified at check out.

What do I need to do to prepare for my delivery?

My furniture arrived damaged. What do I do?

    Any damage should be noted on your signed delivery receipt. Contact the Service Department within 3 days at 888­-4ARTVAN. Depending on the severity of the damage, we will repair or, at our option, replace the item.

What is Mattress Express Next Day Delivery?

    Next day delivery of in-stock mattresses that have been paid in full can be scheduled at your request on available days in designated areas, weather permitting. Online purchases are excluded, see stores for details.
