Gordon Robinson, a recipient of a designer travel award for international study of the decorative arts of England and France, graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design and post-graduate studies in Business Law and Marketing. He has developed and taught interior design courses at several universities and has lectured extensively for business and civic events. Robinson is a professional member of ASID, has held local and national leadership positions with the American Society of Interior Designers, and is certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer). Gordon joins Scott Shuptrine Interiors after an extraordinarily successful 23 years of practice as a senior interior designer for the J.L. Hudson Department Store Company, Target Corporation, and Marshall Field's/Macy's. Mr. Robinson's projects have consisted largely of high-end residences, resorts and hotels, and commercial properties, both domestically and internationally. Gordon has been selected to participate in numerous Designer Showhouses, and has been very active in leading community service projects.
